2.6 Siderail Malfunction
1. Raise the siderail, but do not allow the latch to lock. The siderail falls
without assistance.

2. Torque the lower pivot bolts (A) to 140 + 10 in-lb (15.8 + 1.1 N·m) (see
figure 2-4 on page 2-18). This solves the problem.
