Enter and save the reading from the independent thermometer.

From the HOME screen, press the MAIN button. The MAIN screen appears.

Use the buttons to navigate to and select the Edit Configuration option. You are prompted to enter
your password.

Enter your password. If the password is correct, the CONFIGURATION screen appears with the
first option highlighted.

From the CONFIGURATION screen, use the buttons to navigate to and select the Temperature
Calibration option. The TEMPERATURE CALIBRATION screen appears.

Do one of the following:

For PC3200i and PC4200i models, which have two probes, Select Temp Probe is highlighted.
Press the INC or DEC button to highlight and select the probe (Upper or Lower) for which
you want to change the setting. Press the DOWN button until the Temperature option is
highlighted. Next to Current temperature, the current chamber temperature as read by the
selected probe appears.

On all other i.Series models, which have one probe, Upper Temperature Probe is displayed
and the Temperature option is highlighted. Next to Current temperature, the current chamber
temperature as read by the probe appears.

Press the INC or DEC button to increase or decrease the value to match the measured value. While
the value next to Temperature changes, the value next to Current temperature remains unchanged.

Press the DOWN button. Store Calibration is highlighted.

Do one of the following:

If you want to save the new value, press the ENTER button. A message appears stating that
the new calibration is memorized. The Current temperature value changes to the value you
selected.

If you do not want to save the new value, press the BACK or HOME button to exit the
Temperature Calibration screen.
NOTE:
►
Shortly after you save the new value, the Current temperature value may
change so that it no longer matches the new value. This is normal.
►
If you enter a new value, but do not save it, that value appears the next time
you view the setting for that probe.

Remove the independent thermometer from the chamber.

Testing chamber temperature alarms
NOTE:
Regulations for your organization may recommend test methods different from
what appear here. Use the appropriate methods for your organization.
Your incubator has alarms that indicate if the chamber temperature becomes too high or too low. The
method to test these alarms varies by model.
For Horizon models, the temperature control probe is immersed in water. The temperature of the water
is monitored as the water is slowly heated or cooled. The temperature at which each alarm activates is
read from the temperature controller and compared to the appropriate setpoint that is programmed on the
temperature controller.
