Restoring the factory settings
In exceptional cases it may be necessary to reset heatapp! components to the factory settings.
Resetting a running system always results in a new setup. A
heatapp!
system comprises several individual components.
Therefore, a reset of individual components has different consequences for the components remaining in the system.
•
heatapp! base
: See chapter “System management” Resetting
heatapp!
base deletes all heating-relevant data,
including the rooms, all user data and all images.
Any possibly connected
heatapp!
gateway must be reconnected to the
heatapp!
base after the new setup. The radio
components must be reassigned to the rooms.
•
heatapp! gateway
: See “
” chapter on page 68. A reset of heatapp! gateway deletes the
gateway password and the connection to
heatapp!
base and all radio components.
In the new setup, the connection to the heatapp! base must be reselected and the radio components must be re-
registered.
Note
If the
heatapp!
gateway is reset, all other included radio components must be reset too. Without resetting, the radio
components cannot be included again.
•
heatapp! drive
: See section „Reset to factory settings“.
•
heatapp! floor
: See section „Reset“.
•
heatapp! sense
: See section “Resetting heatapp! sense”.
•
heatapp! sense control
: See section „Reset”
•
heatapp! repeater
: See section „Reset heatapp! repeater”.
•
heatapp! repeater S
: See section „Resetting heatapp! repeater S“
Note
If a reset of a radio component that is registered in a
heatapp!
system occurs, it must also be removed from the
heatapp!
system by pressing the button “Remove faulty radio component”.
