Seal ring

Oil filter

Procedure

Step

Activity

Keep a container ready for collecting the used oil.

Loosen the oil filter with a strap wrench (1) or similar and un-
screw it.

Dispose of the old filter in accordance with local environmental
regulations.

Lift the screen plate (2) off the oil overpressure valve with a
screwdriver. The sealing surface (3) must not be damaged when
doing this.

Blow out the screen plate (2) from the inside with compressed
air and then press back onto the oil overpressure valve.

Thoroughly clean the sealing surface (3).

Lightly oil the sealing lip (4) of the new oil filter (5).

Screw in the oil filter and

tighten it by hand
