When the filter is removed, a small amount of fuel is drained as
well.

Place a suitable container under the fuel filter to collect emerg-
ing fuel.

Pull the fuel line (1) off the fuel filter (2) on both sides, and insert
a new filter.
Observe the flow-through direction (arrows).

Release the fuel feed, and pre-pump the fuel (see chapter

7.3.1

Check the fuel filter and lines for tightness after a brief trial run.
