8. AREA OF APPLICATION AND INTENDED USE
8.1. Area of application
These pumps have been developed specifically for drainage and sewage water disposal in buildings that are
not connected to the public sewage water system and where connecting them would mean covering large
distances. The purchaser / operator must ensure that no objects can enter the system which could lead to
disruption of operations, notably:
metal parts, pieces of wood and plastic, stones, textiles, stockings, disposable nappies, panty liners, cotton
swabs, packaging, razor blades, cat litter, sand, and gravel etc…
These objects do not belong in the sewage water system but should be disposed of as rubbish. Equally, fry-
ing oil and frying grease should be disposed of separately.
WARNING If operated against a closed valve, both the pump and the installation will be damaged.
Explosive, inflammable or chemical liquids must under no circumstances be transported.
The purchaser / operator must ensure that no meteoric water thus contaminated can get
into the pump pit.
The intermediate bath of the pump is filled with oil. Defective floating ring seals can lead to
contamination of the transport fluid.

ATTENTION
The pump must never be operated when dry. Adhere to the maximum emersion length.
8.2.2. For Ecocut and Ecovox WW and DR pumps
Working pressure max. 10 bar
Transport product temperature min. 0°C - max. 40°C
Ambient temperature min. -20°C - max. 40°C
Immersion depth max. 10 m

ATTENTION
