EPLACEMENT
Note: Motor Assemblies P/N 10402300 and P/N 10402405-0001 are no longer
in use. When replacing, use Motor Assembly P/N 10401300-00 (Motor P/N
10401301-00 and 10402407). See Caution below.
Caution: The new motor is incompatible with the old power supply PCBAs, P/N
10403200. Power supply P/N 10403600 must be in place when replacing an old
motor. See Chapter 14, Power Supply Replacement on page 14-2.
1. Motor failure is indicated when the shroud will not rock, yet the LED illu-
minates and comes to the "READY" mode.

2. To replace the motor subassembly, remove base plate (Chapter 4, Base
Plate Removal on page 4-2) and shroud (Shroud Removal on page 4-3).
Remove Body Board and Power Supply Assemblies (Chapter 5, Strain
Gauge Inspection and Replacement on page 5-2 and Body Board Strain
Gauge Amp Adjustment Procedure on page 5-7). Remove Link Assembly
(Chapter 6, Link Assembly Removal on page 6-3) Remove Crank M from
the motor shaft by removing the hex bolt screw. Remove the four screws
that secure the motor assembly to the base assembly.
3. Reverse disassembly procedures to install new motor assembly.
