2. Loosen the two screws that secure the chassis to the nut plate approxi-
mately three turns (a long phillips screwdriver is required). Use a flashlight
to assist in locating the screws. The body board and power supply will be
loose. Gently remove them from the Shaker.
Note: Reference Strain Gage PCBA 10402511. Those PCBAs Revision F and ear-
lier, Figure 5-3, have the adjustment potentiometer. Revision G, Figure 5-6, does
not have this adjustment.
3. Unplug connectors P2, P3, and P7 from the body board and P3 from the
power supply board. Remove the short ground cable. Set aside the body
board and power supply.
Caution: Tie-up, insulate or otherwise control the ground wires and connectors
when removing them from the base plate or chassis plate assembly to prevent un-
wanted contact with electrical/mechanical functions.
4. Using an extender wire harness (P/N 10405012-00), reconnect connec-
tors P2, P3, and P7 on the body board and P3 on the power supply. Tape
Link D to the Link Y to prevent Link D from binding against the base.
