EMOVAL
Warning: Prior to initiating any repair, verify that the Shaker power cord has
been unplugged from its source of power. Failure to do so may result in injury
or death to personnel or damage to equipment.
1. Verify that the Shaker is unplugged and place the Shaker on an electro-
static discharge (ESD) protective mat and place an ESD protective wrist
band on your wrist.
Caution: This device contains sensitive electronic devices. Do not handle or store
near strong electrostatic, electromatnetic, magnetic or radioactive fields. Use an
electrostatic safe workstation and repair techniques.
2. Lay the Shaker on its side, or place on its back in a servicing cradle or
cardboard box with the bottom of the Shaker facing up.
3. Remove the 10 base-plate screws and retain for reinstallation. Partially re-
move the base plate from the bottom of the Shaker.
4. The hex nut and lock washer holding the base plate ground wire in place
will now be exposed. Remove the nut, washer and ground wire screw. Re-
move the ring terminal and wire from the screw and reinstall the nut and
lock washer on the screw through the base plate for safe keeping. Retain
the base plate for reinstallation.
