Caution: Always wear an ESD strap when working on the Shaker.
Note: Models with serial number 0535 or greater are manufactured with an in-
terboard connector in place of the power supply to body board cable (P/N
10403300).
1. Connect the extension harness (P/N 10405012-00) between the base and
PCB chassis assembly, as follows:
M = Motor connector, P3 on the Power Supply Board
SG = Strain Gauge Connector P2 on the Body Board
E = Reed Switch Connector, P3 on the Body Board
S = "Sonalert" Audio Alert Connector, P7 on the Body Board.
2. Set the Shaker on its feet with the chassis assembly out of the base.
3. Place AC ground wire directly from the input power receptacle onto the
chassis ground and secure with lock washer and nut.
4. Connect Power Harness to P2 on the Power Supply Board.
5. Connect head to body PCBA cable assembly to P1 on body board.
Warning: With the removal of the Body Board and Power Supply PCBA's from
the base, AC and DC voltages are exposed. Use CAUTION when handling these
assemblies.
Warning: Input Power fuse "F1" fuse holder, located on the power supply PCBA,
is exposed when the Body Board and Power Supply PCBA's are removed from
the base. Use CAUTI ON Awhen handling these assemblies.
Caution: Ensure disconnected ground wires are controlled to prevent contact
with internal components.
