| Installation
– If the malfunction of the connected device could become life-threatening,
extra precautions and securities need to be applied.
– When connecting other devices, please consider the grounding and other
possibilities of harmful currents.
– The device should not be subjected to water drops (rain), dust or direct
sunlight.
– When installed in public buildings all rules and regulations referring to public
installation need to be followed.
– If a device needs to be repaired at any time, it may only be repaired with
original components. The use of different components can lead to serious
damages and has a danger of electrocution.
mOunTIng
This product is designed for mounting on dry and clean walls. Make sure that this
product is mounted on a stable surface.
– Remove the 4 mounting screws and take off the cover.
– Mark and drill the mounting holes according to the holes on the base of the
device. Take the position of the connecting cables into account. Make sure
you do not damage the leads in any way. This can be the cause of a short-
circuit.
– Thread the cable through the rubber insulation.
– Screw the base of the housing to the wall.
elecTrIc InsTallaTIOn
– The device needs to be connected to a switch capable of disconnecting all
leads from the mains.
– Connect the black/brown cable to the clip labeled L. Connect the blue cable
to the clip labeled N.
As the connectors L and N each have two clips, you can connect them to
the relay, switching the power to a connected device (230V) if needed. For
safety reasons you should make sure that the relays are switching the same
currents. (NOT Relay 1: 12V, Relay 2: 230V). The device is designed as a
class 2 product. Please make sure that, if the connected devices are not class 2
products, the PE is connected according to VDE or applicable regulations.
