7.8 VALVE BANK DISASSEMBLY
The 6 section valve bank is the control center of the
machine. It is a specially built assembly that is
configured specifically for the machine. If
disassembled, it MUST be reassembled with each
section in precisely the same order as the valve shown
below. ALL WORK MUST BE PERFORMED IN A
CLEAN AREA.
Remove the valve bank from the machine and
disconnect all hoses. Plug all ports and thoroughly
clean the valve bank’s exterior, after which the port
plugs can be removed.
Mark The Valve Bank
1. Before disassembly is started the end covers and
each section must be marked to ensure the correct
arrangement and orientation when reassembling
after repairs have been made. This is the most
critical step in the disassembly procedure. It should
be followed very closely. Each valve section is
configured differently and must be treated as a
separate assembly. DO NOT mix with parts from
other sections. Mark the sections with sequential
numbers as shown below and then mark the
working sections with A & B as shown below to
indicate spool type.
