Check the snap ring around its diameter to ensure it is
seated and fully captive in the groove.
Place the gear set and front bearing block into the front
flange.
Place the dowel pins into the front pump flange. This
will aid in aligning the pump body to the front flange
during assembly.
With the rear bearing block in the pump body, place the
pump body onto the dowel pins in the front flange.
Place the tie bolts into the front cover and through the
pump body.
Install the rear cover onto the pump body and check for
proper location of rear face seals. No dowels are
required for rear cover location.
The tie bolts will locate the rear cover onto the pump
body.
Use a socket wrench to install the four hexagon nuts
and washers. Before torquing hardware be sure align-
ment marks on the case match. Use standard torque
for hardware grade.
Install the woodruff key and the shaft nut tab washer.
6.6 DRIVE MOTOR
Preparation For Disassembly
Remove the Torqmotor from the machine, drain it of
fluid, and take it to a clean work surface. Clean and dry
the Torqmotor before you start to disassemble the unit.
As you disassemble the Torqmotor clean all parts,
except seals, in clean petroleum-based solvent, and
blow them dry.
Keep parts separate to avoid nicks and burrs.
Discard all seals and seal rings as they are removed
from the Torqmotor. Replace all seals, seal rings and
any damaged or worn parts with genuine approved ser-
vice parts.
