Replacing the Sensors (continued)
High Pressure Sensors
1.
Follow the
Pressure Relief Procedure
on page 21.
2.
Disconnect the high pressure sensor assembly
(208) connector from its mating connector. See
Fig. 110.
3.
Unscrew the high pressure sensor assembly (208)
from the manifold (213).
4.
Apply thread sealant and screw the new high
pressure sensor into the manifold.
5.
Connect the sensor to the correctly labeled mating
connector.

High Pressure Transducer Calibration
1.
Replace the high pressure transducer (208) follow-
ing the instructions at left. Make sure that the
transducer is not over–torqued when screwing into
the adapter manifold (213). The transducer should
only be torqued to 20–25 ft–lb (27–34 N
m). A
small amount of grease can be used with o–ring
insertion.
2.
Turn on the controller.
3.
Open the drain valves (204) on the high pressure
fluid filters to ensure that there is no pressure on
the sensors. Verify this on the gauges (207).
4.
Read the values on the display.
5.
Use the security key to go into the setup mode of
the controller.
6.
Move to level 7, in the Pressure Icon column. See
Fig. 16 for the location of the Pressure Icon button.
7.
Initially, the display will show “7–––––”.
8.
Press and hold the Pressure button (Fig. 16) until
a zero appears on the right–most digit of the
display (i.e., “7––––0”). This will take approximate-
ly five seconds.
9.
Release the button and exit the setup mode using
the security key.
10. Observe the pressures on the digital display. They
should read less than 50 psi (0.345 MPa, 3.45
bar).
