The function is used for fault messages, e.g. to a customer building control centre. The contact closes or opens
if the control determines a fault, see chapter 28 “Error messages”.

12.1.3 Fault indication for MPS
The function is used to switch the fault LED at the MPS. The contact closes if the control determines a fault, see
chapter 28 “Error messages”. When maintenance is due, the output is connected cyclically, and the fault LED on
the MPS flashes.

The electric strike function is not permissible if the drive is used for the fire-protection area (Powerturn F, F/R, F-IS
with fire protection kit).
