Sensitive valve parts
Damage to valve parts.
► Protect the valve parts against impact stress.
► Diaphragm position, insert the valve insert into the housing only in the
main stroke.
Tools required:
•
Open-ended wrench
Carry out the following steps:
1.
Place the control top d on the valve.
2.
Grease the threads of the clamp connection (R) and install between the
control top (B) and the actuator (A).
3.
Pressurise the valve at the connection (P) with compressed air, max. 8 bar.

The valve insert is raised.
4.
Check that the stem diaphragm (1) is in the correct position (see Fig.)
5.
Guide the valve insert completely into the housing (401).
®
Protect the valve parts against impact stress.
®
Take note of the weight of the valve.
6.
Grease the thread of the clamp connections (43) and install.
®
! Ensure that the clamp connections (43) are firmly installed.
®
! Observe table "Torques for half rings and clamp connections", see section
Section 10.6.5, Page 72
7.
Interrupt the compressed air supply to the connection (P)
®
The valve insert lowers.
8.
Check function after assembly.
®
! The valve has been assembled.
