Clean Inlet
The Analyzer flushes the reagents, dilution water, and check standard every 24 hours of online operation. This is
the
Daily Flush
described later in this chapter. If
Clean Inlet
(
) is enabled, the Analyzer will back flush
the enabled sample stream inlet(s) with acid reagent during the
Daily Flush
. The
Clean Inlet
function aids in
controlling biological growth in the sample cup and inlet tubing.
Auto Restart
When the
Auto Restart
function is
On
, the Analyzer will resume analysis when power is restored after a power
outage. When
Auto Restart
is
Off
, the Analyzer will remain in Standby when power is restored.
Daily Flush
The
Daily Flush
function causes the Analyzer to flush the reagents, dilution water, and check standard every 24
hours of online operation. This maintains the accuracy of the measurements by eliminating bubbles that
accumulate in the tubing during normal operation.
You may want to set the Daily Flush for non-continuous operation. Set the Daily Flush to
On
for non-continuous
operation, and then set a specific daily start time. You will want to set the Daily Flush to
Off
if you run online
continuously.
