Identifying a device by activating the identification LED
The KVM switches are equipped with an identification LED on the front and back
panel.
You can use the OSD and the web application to switch the LEDs of the devices on
and off to identify the devices within a rack, for example.
How to enable/disable the identification LED of a device:
1. Press
Ctrl+Num
(default) to open the on-screen display.
2. Pres
F12
to open the service tools.
3. Select the row
Ident LED
and press
F8
to switch the LED on or off.
Restarting the KVM switch
Use this function to restart the KVM switch. You will be prompted for confirmation
before restarting to prevent an accidental reboot.
How to restart the KVM switch using the web application:
1. Press
Ctrl+Num
(default) to open the on-screen display.
2. Pres
F12
to open the service tools.
3. Use the
arrow keys
to select
Restart
and press
Enter
.
4. Confirm the security prompt by selecting
Yes
and press
Enter
.
