There are two aspects to this page:

The

Enable Serial Ports

Expansion Serial Ports

and

Ethernet (TCP

) fields on the left are

used to indicate the port through which the data is to be exported. Each item in these three

regions can be toggled to either

Modbus 1

None

. Different Modbus lists can be assigned

to different communication ports.

The Enable Ports

check box should be selected if data is to be transmitted via a serial port.

The

Termination On

check box should be selected if a termination resistor is required for the

RS485 serial port.

The right side of the page is used to configure the port(s) that are used to transmit data. The

format of all ports except Ethernet Configuration is the same (Figure 8-5). The

communication parameters should be entered.

dialog box is as shown in Figure

8-6. The communication parameters should be entered.
