Log cradle
The log cradles are designed to catch the log after it is
split (fig. 31).
2 position function:
−
The inside hole position is to centre the logs on the beam.
−
The outside hole position provides a level surface on
which to put logs.
Log table
Mounted directly on the log cradle and provides a flat surface
on which to put logs (fig. 32).
Horizontal lock latch
The latch is used to secure the beam in the horizontal
position (fig. 33).
Hydraulic cylinder handle
For easy transition from horizontal to vertical position (fig. 34).
Wedge cover guard
Is designed to remove any partially split wood from the
wedge. This may occur while splitting large diameter wood or
freshly cut wood (fig. 36).
