Serial Communication Test
The serial communication test can be performed by selecting ”SCI” on the “Test Menu”.
SCI
The loop back test and other status of the serial communication will be displayed.
To perform the loop back test, prepare mini-DIN8 pin cable with TxD and RxD short-circuited,
and connect to the serial connector located at the rear side of the equipment.
Reference For details of the pin assignments, refer to “8. Specification External Connection”.
TX
Displays the packet number transmitted from the serial port of the equipment.
RX
Displays the packet number received at the serial port of the equipment.
※
The reliable data (difference of TX and RX) for the “ERROR” condition will be displayed
only when the loop back test is performed.
If the loop back test is successfully completed, “SUCCESS” will be displayed.
CO2
Reserved function. Not used.
TTL
Displays the TTL signal status.
