Circuit Explanation of the CPU Board
CPU
The RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computer) processor is used for the CPU.
It controls memory such as SRAM and each peripheral IC. Also, it is provided with DMAC
(Direct Memory Access), timer, SCI (Serial Communication Interface), etc.
Flash Memory
The memory capacity is 512kByte. The program is retained in this flash memory and the flash
memory inside the CPU. Upgrading of the program can be easily performed by using this flash
memory.
SRAM
The memory capacity is 4Mbyte. About 6 years of backup is performed by the lithium battery.
RTC (Real Time Clock)
About 6 years of backup is performed by the lithium battery.
Sound
A sound generator IC controlled by the software is used, and generates alarm sound, heartbeat
synchronized sound, key sound, etc.
Main G.A. (Main Gate Array)
The main gate array controls the membrane switch detection, DIP switch, alarm pole, etc.
It also controls the communication between the NIBP board and analog board.
Graphic Controller
VRAM is incorporated, and controls the display plane, etc.
Telemeter G.A. (Telemeter Gate Array)
Controls the communication with the telemetry unit.
