Language Setup (At Power ON)
When the power of the DS-7001 is turned ON for the first time after the factory shipment, the
language setup screen will be automatically displayed. Once the setup is performed, this setup
screen will not be displayed again from the next time the power is turned ON, but if necessary,
the following procedure allows to perform the language setup again without entering the “Test
Menu”.
Reference For procedure to set the language from the “Test Menu”, refer to “5. Function Test”.
Language (At Power ON)
With this process, the language setup can be performed without entering the “Test Menu”, which
allows to perform the setup without initializing the settings.
1 Turn OFF the power of the DS-7001.
2 Press the key and

key simultaneously to turn ON the power.
3 The language setup screen will be displayed.
NOTE
This procedure will initialize the language setup. If the language setup is
not performed at this time (if Skip is selected), the language setup
screen will be displayed again when the system is restarted.
Language: Select English or Chinese and press the
Save
key.
If not setting the language, select Skip .
When the Save key is pressed, the screen shown at left
will be displayed.
When the language setup process completes, “Setup
Completed.” message will be displayed and the system will
restart after 3 seconds.
