All different power supply units can be installed, removed or replaced in
the same way.
6.1.2
Assembly rules
– Mixed assembly of power supply units from different power classes (e.g.
class 1 or class 2) within a system is not released.
– Mixing of Platinum and Titanium power supply units within same class (e.g.
class 2) within a system is not released.
– Mixing of Platinum power supply units within same class and different
manufacturer (e.g. class 1) within a system is released.
– Always install a dummy cover into an unused PSU bay to comply with
applicable EMC regulations and satisfy cooling requirements.
– For a redundant power supply configuration you need always two power
supply units with the same power class.
