Address setting by simple remote controller (UTY-RSKU and
UTY-RHKU)
• Indoor unit addresses and refrigerant circuit addresses can be set up using wired remote con-
trollers.
• This function allows setting the addresses of all indoor units to which a wired remote controller is
being connected.
• This function cannot be used to set up remote controller addresses.
Be sure to set them up using the rotary switches on the PCB of each indoor unit. (Refer to
• This function cannot be used on the slave units.
• This function can be set up on both UTY-RSKU (with operation mode) and UTY-RHKU (without
operation mode) types.
Preparation
1.
Make sure that all indoor unit address switches (IU AD x10, IU AD x1) and refrigerant circuit
address switches (REF AD x10, REF AD x1) on the PCB of each indoor unit are set at 0 (facto-
ry setting).
The layout of the switches differs by the type of the indoor unit. For the details, refer to

Before turning on the power of indoor unit, reconfirm following items:
• Piping air tight test and vacuuming have been performed firmly.
• There is no wiring mistake.

Turn on the power of indoor units.
By turning on the power, the indoor units initialize EEV.
