This section describes the SMTP server settings.

Set this item when using the E-mail, iFAX, Mail Notice, or Job Completion Notice feature.

Start a web browser.

Enter the machine's IP address or the Internet address to the address box on the
browser, and press the <Enter> key.

When specifying a port number, add ":" and the port number after the Internet address.

Click the [Properties] tab.

Click [+] at the left of [Protocol Settings] to display the items in the folder.

Click [SMTP].

Set the SMTP server.
1) Set [Server Address].
2) Set [Port Number].
Note
•
Do not use the numbers of any other ports.
3) Set the SMTP authentication method using the [Send Authentication] pull-down
menu.
