7-3-21 Setting the data to be added to the command pulse register while speed is continuously
changed over
• While the frequency is continuously updated with the speed change command being set to “1,” the addend data
can be written into the command pulse register.

• For the speed data for the speed change command, the lower 20 bits of 2-word data (32 bits) in set value data
area 2 are used.
With “pulse setting buffer, lower” (register select = 24), the data of the remaining 12 bits is added to the command
pulse register as pulse count data.
When the added data exceeds 12-bit width, write “pulse setting buffer, middle” and “pulse setting buffer, upper”
data. (When “buffer, lower” data is written, the corresponding data is added to the command pulse register.)
• When command frequency resolution is 16 bits, the upper word (16 bits) of the set value data buffer is added to
the command pulse register as pulse count data the moment data is written in “pulse count setting buffer, 16”
(register select = 27).
Point of use:
· Also, when data is written into the command pulse register (register select = 3), pulse count is added to the
command pulse register.
Because the data written into the command pulse register is of 32-bit length, the speed change command needs
to be set once to “0.”
