7-3  Functions of Pulse Generation Mode

7-3-12 Original point return motion

• With the interrupt point positioning function and the phase-Z detect function of this module (NP1F-MP1/MP2), it is

possible to return to the original point.

• Original point return motion is activated when the interrupt detect signal is “1.”
• When original point return motion is started, set the phase-Z signal detect command to “1” after checking that the

origin LS input has become “1.”

• The command pulse register is not counted down until the phase-Z signal is detected after passing the origin LS.

After the phase-Z signal is detected, the number of pulses which is set in the command pulse register will be
output.

• The change-over between the original point returning speed frequency (fH) and the original point returning creep

speed frequency (fL) is made by the target frequency register rewrite command or speed change command sent
from the CPU module.
