Menu 1: Tag number on the device
The FCX-AII pressure transmitters
intended for use in nuclear power
plants are delivered configured
with an enabled write protection.
The configuration of the tag number on
the device must be done before the write
protection is lifted according to the provision
specified on page 35. After all the operations
are complete, the write protection must be
replaced.
To configure the tag number on the device,
follow the procedure and diagram below.
The tag number may not exceed 26
alphanumeric characters.
• As soon as PUSH MENU KEY is displayed,
press the <MENU> key to display TAG NO.
• To change, press the <CHNG> key and the
cursor will be displayed as on screen 1 .
• Enter the numeric characters that make
up the tag number on the device as on
screen 2 .
To enter alphabetic values, press the
<CHNG ALHA> key as before.
Use the < >< > keys to move the
cursor.
To end the setting, press the <ENT> key.
• Confirm the change by pressing on <ENT>
on screen 3 a second time. Screen 4
comes up to validate the registration in the
transmitter. Press the <CL> key to return
to the screen for modification 2.
• To view the TYPE menu, press the <INC>
key as indicated on screen 1 .
