NOTE…
If the mount is to be located near the top of your mast and no obstruction(s) offer
resistance, you might consider loosely assembling the U-bolts and associated
hardware to the mount and then handling that assembly over the top of the mast
sliding the mount down the mast to its prescribed location…

With the mount ‘pointed’ in the proper direction and using a
¾
” wrench,
sequentially TIGHTEN all four nuts, being sure to balance your tightening so that
the mount sits squarely against the mast …

NOTE:
When affixing your Pole Mount to a
4½“ O.D. post, you may find the u-bolts too
short to accept all of the fastening hardware.
In such cases, you can place the fastening
hardware INSIDE the mounting flange as
illustrated to the right:
