A3 Digital PCA 

Use the following procedure to remove the A3 Digital PCA. The PCA is located behind 

the front panel and attached to the Instrument. It can be removed without removing the 

top and bottom covers from the Instrument. See Figure 7-4. 
1.

 

Remove the A6 Front Panel Assembly from the Source. 

2.

 

Remove the five panhead screws securing the A3 Digital PCA to the Instrument. 

3.

 

Remove the 34-pin IDE ribbon cable at the top of the PCA by prying the location lug 

out of its housing. 

4.

 

Remove the 60-pin IDE ribbon cable located on the base of the PCA by prying the 

location lug out of the housing. 

5.

 

Remove the A3 Digital PCA from the Instrument.
