4. Remove the hard drive bracket screws (4x) and lift the hard drive bracket out of the
system.
5. Remove the hard drive screws (4x) to detach the hard drive from the hard drive
bracket.
6. Replace the hard drive bracket and hard drive bracket screws (4x). Replace the top
cover and top cover screws (2x)
Note
After installation, you must format the hard drive in order to use it with the system. See 24.3 Format-
ting Hard Drives , page 178.
24.3 Formatting Hard Drives
You must format hard drives before you may use them with the system.
CAUTION
Formatting the HDD erases all data on the hard disk. This step cannot be undone. System settings will
not be erased.
To format the hard drive:
