Connecting a PTZ Camera (DNR500 Series)

2. Connect RS485 cables from the camera to the

(+) and

B

(-) ports on the NVR.

3. Right-click and click

Main Menu

) if prompted.

. This allows the system to control the PTZ functions

over RS485. Configure the following RS485 connection parameters for your camera:

• Protocol.
• Address.
• Baud Rate.
• Data Bit.
• Stop Bit.
• Parity.

Note

Check the instruction manual for your PTZ camera to determine the correct settings.

7. Click

OK

. You can now control your PTZ camera using the system.
