4.4
Anschluß des Abgassystems
4.4.1 Installation des Standardabgassystems
Durch die Einspritzung des Seewassers in das Auspuffsystem wird eine
gute Schalldämpfung und eine Abkühlung der Abgase erreicht.
Die Auspuffanlage des Generators muß getrennt von der Auspuffanlage
der Hauptmaschine oder eines anderen Aggregates durch die Bordwand
ins Freie geführt werden.
Die Abgasleitung (Schlauch) hat einen Innendurchmesser von 40mm
(Panda 14000 und größer je nach Möglichkeit 50mm). Der Wassersammler
muß an der tiefsten Stelle des Auspuffsystems eingebaut werden. In der
PANDA-Zubehörliste wird ein Spezial-Wassersammler angeboten, der
gleichzeitig auch eine besonders gute Geräuschdämmung bewirkt. Der
Auspuff muß so verlegt werden, daß der Abgasgegendruck 0,4 bar nicht
übersteigt, deshalb sollte die Gesamtlänge der Auspuffleitung 6m mög-
lichst nicht überschreiten.
Die Abgasleitung ist aus der Kapsel fallend zum Wassersammler zu
führen. Danach führt die Leitung steigend über den Schwanenhals zum
Schalldämpfer (siehe Zeichnung). Der Schwanenhals muß auf der
Mittelachse des Schiffes liegen.
4.4
Exhaust System Installation
4.4.1 Standard Exhaust System Installation
By ejecting the outlet sea water into the exhaust manifold, the exhaust
gases are cooled and the noise emissions from the exhaust system are
reduced.
The generator exhaust system must remain completely independent and
separate from the exhaust system of any other unit(s) on board.
The exhaust hose has an inner diameter of 40mm (1.6") (Panda 14000 and
above approx. 50mm). The water lock must be installed at the lowest point
of the exhaust system. An optional noise insulated water lock can also
be installed. The exhaust system must be installed so that the back
pressure inside the exhaust does not exceed 0.4 bar (6 psi) and total length
does not exceed 6m (20 ft.).
The exhaust hose descends from the capsule to the water lock. Then the
hose rises via the "goose neck" to the silencer (see drawing). The goose
neck must be vertical and sit preferably along the ship's keel centre line.
