end position. It must not be moved.

The HME moves at search speed v_rp to the reference switch
and reverses. After leaving the switching range of the reference
switch, the HME moves to the next index signal of the displace
ment encoder. The reference point REF is there.

The HME then moves at speed v_zp from the reference point REF
to the axis zero point AZ.
