Using the object position_range_limit_enable the position
limits determined by the object 607B

can be activated. In
addition to the so far existing mode two new modes have
been implemented from firmware Rev. 8e onwards: The mode
"Shortest distance" will be activated by writing a 2 into this
object. The drive always takes the shortest distance to reach
the target position. In the mode "Predefined direction", acti
vated by writing a 3, the user can determine the direction of
movement by the sign of the object
