Physical addressing
PLEASE NOTE
Use the logical addressing or the bus configuration
via the CMD software, if your INTERBUS module
permits this.
You can thereby avoid shifting input and output ad-
dresses during any later extensions.
The first bus slave is addressed with the basis address
of the INTERBUS module. You can obtain the address
of the next bus slave by adding to the basis address
the appropriate number of bits in the process data
channel of all the slaves. This process must be carried
out separately for the inputs and the outputs.
PLEASE NOTE
The number of inputs on a CP system may differ
from the number of outputs.
1. Ascertain the address range reserved by the CP
system. The last used string is decisive here (see
"CP system" manual).
2. Ascertain the required number of bits for the process
data channel according to the following table.
3. Calculate the physical addresses of all the slaves
(see following example).
