Inspecting and setting
Edgebander
G 500
To substitute the resistances, disconnect the wires from the
connections located on the electrical box.
Before taking out one of the lower resistances it is neces-
sary to unscrew the locking bolts, then take it out and
disconnect.
Insert the new resistance and connect to joint. To substi-
tute the upper resistance it is sufficient to pull it upwards.
Never connect the resistances until you have placed them
in the correct position of glue pot.
Do not force the bolts too much so that damage is not
made to outside of resistance.

8.4 Setting the guillotine scissors

The guillotine scissors are activated automatically when
the programme is adjusted at the control panel.
The group consists of a cylinder-driven blade, working in
a scissorlike motion.
This unit is only used for edging veneer, melamine, PVC,
ABS, polyester in rolls and with a diameter of 3mm.

8.4.1 Knife substitution, sharpening and lubrication
Periodically clean with compressed air and lubricate, the
knife, the counter-knife and the are of the counter-knife
where the cutters are.
When lubricating with oils without silicon, then do not
leave the cutting shears wet, but make sure to dry with a
cloth. Oils without silicon can lower the gluing adhesive-
ness.
To substitute or sharpen a cutting shear knife it is neces-
sary:
• completely unscrew knob
• take away the edge passage filter, unscrew the two
fixing screws of the knife, substitute or sharpen knife.
Re-mount as indicated and re-mount the edge pas-
sage filter

Attention: Only sharpen the oblique side of the knife.
