Once the system is ARMED and you press
[SELECT]
you will see the following screen:
Start sending your data. If you are sending data from multiple devices, only send data from one device at a time. Wait
for it to finish sending its data, and then start sending from the next. There is no limit to the number of dumps that can
be combined in one file. Usually you will want one dump file for each device, but there are times when you want to
compile “performances” into a single file that can be resent at a later date.
When all of the data has been transmitted, press
[SELECT]
to save the data to the file. A summary screen will show you
have many bytes of MIDI data have been stored. Hit any button to exit back to the Utility Menu.
NOTE: Not all Media Card types are capable of maintaining writes speeds with Liquid-‐Tracks. IT IS HIGHLY
recommended that you test your media card carefully with a test sysex dump of size prior to using such card in the
field. While media card vary in performance, in general, USB memory sticks work flawlessy, therefore it is
recommended that USB MEMORY sticks are used when performing backup sysex dumps. You can always copy those
files onto other used media at a later time as reads typically don’t have any issues regardless of media used.
Playing a MIDI TYPE-‐0 File
While its most useful to play a midi file synchronized within a preset, there maybe times you need to test a file, or play a
full performance based midi file. Use this feature to select the MIDI file and then it will start playing the file. Press
