Re-‐Scan a Bank
When audio or MIDI files are added, deleted or edited and replaced to your BANKA or BANKB folder manually, a Re-‐
Scan of the directory might be important. This allows the Liquid Tracks to synchronize the file content, process ID3
changes, and resort the files among other things. A ReScan will analyze each file in the directory and create the data
needed to properly process the file. It will also allow the system to properly prompt the user for audio and MIDI files
available within the bank when programming presets. If you knowingly made modifications of any kind to the bank
directory, you may want to ReScan it prior to your next set of edits of presets. New files will not show up on your list of
options when browsing for files until a ReScan is complete.
Saving Preset Data to the Memory Card
Preset memory is stored within the Liquid Tracks and will remain intact as long as it is not deleted, erased or auto-‐
programmed. You may wish to save a copy of your presets just in case you make changes later on that you want to
reverse, or in the chance that you may overwrite the data by accident using a software editor, a SYSEX dump or restore,
or swapping media cards without having saved your presets prior. Simply select “Save” from the bank menu and it will
create a valid preset file within the bank. You can copy this file on your computer and save it as a backup, or just leave it
in the directory whereby you can “Load” it from the bank menu at a later time.
