Removing an Internal Power Supply
To remove an internal Summit 300-48 power supply:
1
Turn off the power supply by setting the power switch to the OFF position.

Disconnect the power cable from the power source

If a power cable retaining bracket is installed, remove it as described in “Disconnecting a Power
Cable with an Installed Cable Retaining Bracket” on page 132.

Disconnect the power cable from the power supply.
CAUTION
Shock Hazard.

Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the two captive retaining screws. See the detail in Figure 61.

Hold the retaining screws, and use them to slowly pull the power supply toward you, as shown in
Figure 62.
WARNING!
Do not insert your fingers or hands into the empty power supply bay.
