Checking Consumable Status During Printing
You can check the status of your printer's consumables (remaining ink level, waste ink bottle level, and
remaining wiper units) during printing.
1.
During printing, press the
Menu
button.
2.
Press the up or down arrow button to select
Printer Status
and press the
OK
button.
3.
Press the up or down arrow button to select the consumable for which you want to check the status
and press the
OK
button.
4.
Press the
OK
button when you are done.

Adjusting Heating and Drying During Printing
You can adjust the heating and drying settings during printing.
Note:
If the room temperature is too low and you send a print job with high ink density or a small number
of print passes, the print job may pause while the heater warms up.
1.
During printing, press the heat/dry menu button.
2.
Press the up or down arrow button to select one of the following settings and press the
OK
button:
•
Heater Temperature
: Press the left or right arrow button to select a heater, and press the up or
down arrow button to set the temperature.
•
Additional Dryer
: Press the up or down arrow button to select and change the settings.
3.
Press the
OK
button when you are done.

Correcting Banding Issues During Printing
You can correct banding issues during printing.
1.
During printing, press the
media setup button.
You see the current feed adjustment value on the LCD screen.
2.
Do one of the following:
• If black bands (dark stripes) appear in your printouts, press the up arrow button to increase the
feed amount.
