Sleep Mode
OFF
The printer enters sleep mode automatically when there are
no errors, no print jobs being received, and no control panel or
other operations are performed for the selected period. Use
this option to choose the period before the printer enters
sleep mode. When the printer enters sleep mode, the control
panel's screen turns off and the internal motors and other
parts switch off to consume less power. The screen display
returns if a button is pressed on the control panel; however,
the panel turns off again if no operations are performed for 30
seconds. The printer recovers completely when hardware
operations are performed such as when print job data is
received.
