To add a direct connection to a Macintosh computer with
the optional EpsonScript Level 2 module, use either the
LocalTalk/Serial module or the AppleTalk Interface Card

).
Note:
If you reset the printer while it is receiving data through the
AppleTalk Interface Card, you need to turn the printer off and
then on again before it can communicate properly.
To add a direct connection to your GPIB network, use the
GPIB Interface Card (C82323

).
Installing the LocalTalk/Serial module
1. Perform steps 1 to 5 in “Installing a memory module,” page
4-7, to access the printer’s SIMM SLOT.
2. Remove the connector cover as shown.
