EPSON GL/2 Mode 

Note:
You cannot change the GL/2 Mode items by SelecType. To change
these items, use the GL/2 command listed in Appendix C.

In EPSON GL/2 mode, you can use your printer with plotter
applications. This mode is similar to the GL/2 mode supported
in HP LaserJet 4 mode. EPSON GL/2 mode emulates some of
the HP-GL plotter commands and includes all of the
commands found in HP’s GL/2 mode, plus two additional
commands.

The table below shows the differences between these modes.
For more information on GL/2 commands in LJ4 emulation
mode, see Appendix C.
