Since the Stepper requires certain specific starting Schedules, the Schedule Select function
[

] with Stepper mode 01 is described in the following sections for Internal schedule
selection, External schedule selection, or S49 Option.
Internal Schedule Select Option -

As shown in the schedule map table, each of the five steppers can be initiated with the FS3
initiation switch. This is possible only if any of the ten possible schedules for desired stepper
is dialed on the SCHEDULE displays.
Besides FS3 initiation, steppers B and C, can be initiated with FS7 and FS11 initiation
switches. FS7 is dedicated to initiate only stepper
B (schedule 10 to 19) regardless of what
schedule is dialed on SCHEDULE displays. FS11 is dedicated to initiate only stepper C
(schedule 20 to 29) regardless of what schedule is dialed on SCHEDULE displays.
External Schedule Select Option -

In this mode, only four steppers can be initiated with the FS3 initiation switch. This is
possible only if FS7 and FS11 are used for stepper selection, as shown in the next table.

In this mode, any stepper can be initiated with the both FS7-FS11 initiation switches. The
stepper operation is the same as with standard FS3 initiation.
External Schedule Select with S49 Option -

In this mode, any of five steppers can be initiated with FS3 initiation switch. The stepper
selection is possible with closing one of the SS1, SS2, SS4, or SS8.

NOTE:
Stepper counter will be decremented only if FS3 (or both FS7-FS11 in ANTI-
TIEDOWN mode) is used for initiation.
When either FS7 or FS11 is used for initiation in stepper mode 02, stepper counter will not
be decremented, and Control will execute the welding sequence starting with schedule 10
or 20, respectively. But, when S49 Option is used for External schedule selection, [

after FS7 initiation, the Control will execute any selected schedule, instead of schedule 10.
