WARNING:
In SEAM WELDING the duty cycle is typically higher since the weld current is flowing
for more time. Use caution not to overheat the transformer or control circuitry when
in the seam mode. See also Application Note 700199, Using External Surge Resistors.
The EN1000 or EN1001 control is equipped with Temperature Limit Switch, usually
mounted on the Heatsink of the SCR Contactor. An Error Code [

: INTERNAL, EXTERNAL, ANTI-TIEDOWN
The EN1000/EN1001 provides the user with four modes of Schedule SELECTION and/or
INITIATION. An INTERNAL (panel-dialed ), EXTERNAL (non-panel, FS7/FS11 select),
an ANTI-TIE DOWN (panel-dialed, two-hands initiation), and an EXTERNAL binary select
using S49 option. The default (factory settings) mode for this control is INTERNAL
SCHEDULE SELECT.
To program the control for INTERNAL/EXTERNAL SCHEDULE selection or ANTI-TIE
DOWN initiations:
1. Put the control in PROGRAM MODE.
2. Use SELECT to find [

In this mode the initiation (TS1- FS3, TS1-FS7, AND TS1-FS11) inputs are dedicated as
follows:
TS1-FS3 INITIATES ON ANY DISPLAYED SCHEDULE:
1. Select a schedule using the SCHEDULE push-buttons.
2. Program the selected schedule or a sequence.
3.
Use FS3 to initiate ANY schedule shown on the panel.
TS1-FS7 AUTOMATICALLY SELECTS AND INITIATES ON 10:
1. Select schedule 10 using the SCHEDULE push-buttons.
2. Program SCHEDULE 10 (or a sequence starting at schedule 10).
3.
Use FS7 to initiate schedule 10 (or a sequence starting at schedule 10).
NOTE:
Regardless of what schedule the front panel displays, FS7 is dedicated to initiate only
on schedule 10.
