Use this field... To...
VID See the ID for the VLAN currently displayed.
Range: 1-2048
VLAN Name Enter a user-specified symbolic name for this VLAN.
String length: Up to 8 alphanumeric characters
Status Set the current editing status for this VLAN as:
Enabled, Remove, or Disabled.
Ports See the port groupings.
Egress Ports Set one or more port entries in this field to “1” to add, or
“0” to remove it from the VLAN displayed on the screen.
The left-most character represents the first port in a group
and the right-most character the last port in the group. For
example, for group 1 - 24, the left-most character in the
Egress Ports field is for port 1 and the right-most character
is for port 24.
Forbidden Egress Ports Set one or more port entries in this field to “1” to prevent a
port from being added to this VLAN. You can determine
the relationship between the ports in the port grouping and
their position in the Forbidden Egress Ports field as
described for the Egress Ports field.
Untagged Ports Set the entry for any port in this field to “1” to enable the
recognition of untagged frames to this VLAN.
[Show] Display settings for the specified VLAN.
[More] Display consecutively numbered VLANs.
[New] Set up the screen for configuring a new VLAN.
