When to Use
To access the screens to configure the default priority for each port, or to display the mapping for
the traffic classes as described in the following sections.
IEEE 802.1p defines up to 8 separate traffic classes. This switch supports Quality of Service (QoS)
by using two priority queues, with weighted fair queuing for each port. For information on Class of
Service, refer to
Appendix C
.
How to Access
Use the arrow keys to highlight the
802.1P Configuration Menu
item on the Device Control
Menu screen and press ENTER. The 802.1P Configuration Menu screen,
