Ensure that the diesel engine has free circulation of
cooling air through the vents in the hood.
Observe extreme caution if the filler cap must be
opened when the engine is hot. NOTE, the engine
must be switched off. Wear protective gloves and

Refuel daily with diesel fuel up to the lower edge of the
filler pipe (1). Follow the engine manufacturer's
specification with regard to the quality of diesel fuel.
Stop the diesel engine. Short-circuit (press) the
filler gun against a non-insulated part of the roller
before filling, and against the filler pipe (1) while
filling. Stop the diesel engine. Short-circuit (press) the
